Apple Shipping’s operations in Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), are conducted in a warehouse with state of the art warehouse. The warehouse has general and temperature control storage facility . Apple Shipping is handling storage and distribution services for some of the leading companies in the UAE.
Details of the warehouse are as mentioned below:
- State of the art facility in South Zone, Area 2 between S08 and S09 of JAFZA (Jebel Ali free zone)
- Location is approximately 4 Kms. from North Side i.e., from T1 /T2/T3 Terminals or alternatively 4 kms. from South Side i.e., from DWC (Sheikh Maktoum airport and Dubai Logistics City)
- Warehouse has 4500 m2 of warehousing space on a 18000 m2 plot area/ built up area 6000m2
- Temp control area in the basement is of 500m2 (18-21deg C)
- USGBC Certified with Silver LEED Certificate
- Can store all types of cargoes including select pre-approved IMCO class cargoes
- Proposed extension will be a Cold Store facility of similar capacity
- 12 custom built dock levellers that facilitate easy access to trailers, ensures safe & efficient loading & unloading of cargo
- ‘Health Safety Environment’ (HSE), with the latest fire protection systems
- Warehouse is green building certified and solar energy is used for electrical consumption
